Privacy

What this website collects, why, and who to ask about it. In short: very little, only what you choose to send, and none of it is sold or shared for advertising.

Who is responsible

The Luseland & District Chamber of Commerce, Box 383, Luseland, SK S0L 2A0. Questions about your information go to info@ldchamber.com or 1 (639) 874-0411.

What we collect, and why

  • The visitor survey. Every question is optional. Answers are sent to a Google Form and read by the Chamber to decide what to improve. If you leave your email, it is used only to reply to you or to send the newsletter you asked for.
  • The membership form. Your business name, contact details and the information for your directory page, collected through a Google Form. The Chamber uses them to invoice the annual fee, publish your directory page and keep in touch with you as a member. What appears on your public page is what you agreed to publish.
  • The newsletter. Your email address, used to send one email a month. Every email has a way to unsubscribe.
  • Email and phone calls. When you write to or call the Chamber, we keep what you sent so we can answer and follow up.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not use advertising trackers. This site runs no analytics at present; if that changes, this page will say so first.

What stays in your browser

The site remembers two small things on your own device, in your browser’s local storage: whether you chose the light or dark theme (ldcc-theme), and whether you have answered or dismissed the survey invitation (ldcc-survey). Neither is sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes both.

Other services on these pages

Some pages show or link to services run by others: the map on the Contact page comes from Google Maps, forms are hosted by Google Forms, and videos and posts link to YouTube, Facebook and Instagram. When you use them, their own privacy policies apply.

How long we keep it, and your choices

We keep member records while you are a member and for as long afterwards as accounting requires. Survey answers are kept while they are useful for planning. You can ask to see what the Chamber holds about you, to correct it, or to have it removed, by writing to info@ldchamber.com. The Chamber handles personal information in line with Canada’s privacy law, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.
