No business is a small business

Thirty-four businesses across the town, five rural municipalities and two villages are members. Here is exactly what that buys.

Six things and none of them vague

Your own page in the directory

Contact details, hours, description and links, on a page search engines can index. Each quarter we tell you how many people it sent to your website.

A room full of people who run businesses here

Monthly meetings, first Wednesday, for members only. Coming is optional, but every member is encouraged to — bring a problem, because somebody in the room has already solved it, and your view shapes what the Chamber does next.

Chambers Plan employee benefits

Health, dental, disability, travel, health spending accounts, employee assistance and virtual healthcare. One to fifty employees qualify, with no minimum company size.

Grants and funding found for you

The Economic Development Officer tracks what is open, what you qualify for, and when it closes.

Training that costs less together

First aid, safety, forklift certification, marketing. Run locally, priced for members.

A voice with the town and the province

The Chamber speaks for local business in the policy conversations you do not have time to attend.

What it costs

One fee a year, set by how many people you employ. Everything on this page is included at every level — the tiers are about fairness, not about holding benefits back.

$100

Home-based business

Per year. For a business run from home.

$200

1 to 3 employees

Per year. Most of the main street sits here.

$300

4 or more employees

Per year. No upper band — the largest member pays this too.

You choose your category on the enrolment form and an invoice follows. At $200 a year, a single quarter's worth of visits from your directory page covers it — and that is before the Chambers Plan rates, the training priced for members, or the grant you would not otherwise have heard about.
