Board of directors

Five people who run businesses here, elected by the membership, and the Economic Development Officer who works for them. An organisation funded by membership fees should be easy to hold to account.

D & L Agency Ltd.

Owner of the independent insurance brokerage that has covered this district since 1986 — home, auto, farm and commercial, written across several providers rather than one. The person you actually talk to

Moved to Luseland from Ukraine with her family and stayed. Previously managed several businesses and worked with city government, supporting local entrepreneurs and community projects. Her job here is to support and promote local business, find grants and new opportunities for the town, organise events, and keep business, community and town working together. Get in touch.

Where the decisions get made

The Chamber is governed by its members. They meet at least ten times a year, on the first Wednesday of the month, and decide by vote of the members in the room; five members make a quorum. The Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer, and the members at large, are elected at the Annual General Meeting, the second regular meeting of the year, for terms of two years. The present board was elected in February 2026; the next election is in 2028.

Attending is optional — nobody is obliged to come — but every member is encouraged to, because the decisions are made by the people present. Meetings start at 7:00 PM in the Luseland Credit Union Community Room, 701 Grand Avenue; the dates are on the events page.
